Acknowledge Our Dominion, Subjugants!

Graeme MacDowell and some effete dandy named Fisher Ross share the lead in the Dubai Desert Classic, the third and final stop on the European Tour's swing through the Arabian Peninsula. The region's former colonial overlords stopped their gin swilling long enough to slog their way through a round in 8-degree (Celsius) heat--call me when you start using a real thermograde system, commies!

Miguel Angel Jimineth, Ernie Els and Darren Clarke are other Eurotrash notables in the top of the leaderboard.

Oh, did I mention that Tiger Woods has betrayed his country to play in this event. He probably wasn't getting enough use out of his personal spacecraft, so he just wanted an excuse to head to a place as far away as possible in under an hour just because he fucking can.

To illustrate the horrendous waste of jet fuel, cognac and loud pants that is the PGA European Tour, here is a map of the Eurotrash season, from the start in Hong Kong, to the finish in Shinzen. They are truly globetrotters our Neaderthal-blooded cousins, hitting every corner of their erstwhile empires and even such American locales as Tulsa and Akron. I gotta say, though, I bet playing in Mallorca beats the Greater Milwaukee Open.
